This film tells the story of a double rupture : that which separates Albania from the rest of the world, and the rupture that has caused the exile of so many political opponents of the regime from their native land.
Trough the story of a few individuals, the film focuses on the question of exile, the history of socialist Albania, and the possible return of its exiles without news of their country for years, at a time when Albania's isolation decreases with each passing day.
